Fundraisers The Kashmere High School PTSA is not a fundraising organization. It is an organization that has fundraisers to support the programs that carry out the mission and objects of the organization. Evening of Praise through Song and Praise Our major fundraiser for Fall 2007 is the Evening of Praise Through Song and Dance. It will be held the September 28, 2007 at 7:00 p.m. in the school's auditorium. The tickets are $5.00 and everyone is welcome. There will be singing, praise dancing, and miming. This event is planned as a community night of praise for our students successfully passing the TAKS Test. Featured performers include national gospel recording group and Kashmere alumni “Endurance”; "Ronnie Porter and The Angelics"; "Total Praise" to only mention a few. Current Kashmere students, alumni, and community choirs and praise dancers will perform.Come and shout the victory with us. Tickets available at the door. All funds will be used for the Conrad O. Kashmere PTSA at the Rockets Additionally, we will participate in PTA Night at the Rockets November 3, 2007 7:30 p.m. @ Toyota Center at the Rocket's season opener against the Portland Trail Blazers. We can purchase regular $30.00 tickets for $20.00. For every ticket sold by Kashmere PTSA, we will receive $5.00 from the Rockets. All funds from this effort will go towards placing a mascot in front of the school. Make sure you include the Local PTA Name: Kashmere High PTSA and the Unit #: 4958. Go Rockets! Go Rams! Click here for tickets order form. Christmas Raffle Additionally, we are planning a raffle during the Christmas holidays. This raffle includes a gift basket containing over $620.00 of perfumes and colognes including Usher products View the list of products and there value here. Please contact Carolyn Miller if you have items of value that we can include in the raffle. Tickets will go on sell at the Evening of Praise concert, September 28, 2007. Conrad O. Johnson Spark Park Pavers You can purchase a paver to be placed in the Conrad O. Johnson SPARK Park for a donation of $100.00. Please download the form here, complete, and send your form with the donation in check or money order (no cash please) to Carolyn R. Miller 5716 Hirsch Road Houston, Texas 77026. Additionally, you can pick up a form in the School's main office, or at any of the PTA functions.Please make whatever contribution you can to this worthy project. You can purchase your paver on an installment plan. The first installment of $50.00 is due by October 15, 2007 and the last $50.00 due by November 20, 2007. The absolute deadline is November 20, 2007 for receipt of your total donation. Other Ways you Can Help Along with the fundraising activities, we are engaged in grantwriting to fund the statue. We do solicit donations from businesses and other entities in the community to help us with our budget. Our business partners are Fiesta Stores, Music Depo, Lowe's Home Improvement, and Carl Barnes Funeral Home.
